PCard Program

The PCard is a special Visa credit card that works similarly to a personal credit card except that charges on cards are billed directly to State agencies for payment.

PCards allow for faster payment to vendors for goods and non-professional services and more efficient processing. Purchasing Fiscal Procedures and Comptroller Fiscal Policy and Procedures still apply to PCard usage.

The state of Alabama is contracted with US Bank for both PCard and Travel cards. Agencies will use US Bank’s AccessOnline system to establish and manage cardholder accounts and Concur to reconcile billing statements for both card programs.
